Hey It's a crazy icy mess where I live! I'm almost ready for Christmas! I just have to wrap all my gifts! Perhaps I'll bake some cookies as well. I've had a wonderful Christmas break so far! I've done almost nothing! Well besides, work, sleep, computer games, books, clean, and shop. But that's nothing compared to school. This Christmas is kind of a sad one. Because of my aunt dying recently, it has kind of put a damper on the whole season. My sister is probably not going to be able to come up at all this season, and I hope I'll get to spend a little more time with my brother. I really miss Dad this year, so that doesn't help either. Maybe the commericalism is getting to me as well. It just doesn't seem like Christmas. Ok, enough of the depressing stuff! I am excited about next semester, and the lack of school work that I must accomplish. I'm also excited because our church christmas program with the children is over. It was so adorable! The kids did a wonderful job, I was so proud of them!

To my "regular" blog readers, I apologize for this unusual post!

Dear Student:

In regards to your question, all I ask is that you inform me of the amount of pages that Dr. Dahler allows credit. I would prefer that not all of your work be done via video, but some would be allowed! Thank you -

Your Professor!

Oh happy day! My finals are over, and I don't have to have my grades in until January 5th! I'm so excited! I realized yesterday, that unless I attend grad school, I have taken my last final! (The only other way I will take another one, is if I get below an A in my class next semester, which I doubt!) I'm on break, so I only have a few minutes, but I wanted to share that wonderful news! I'll try to post more pictures later! Maybe sometime next week! Or Saturday, Or ....I'm rambling! Oh well - Happiness - Bye:)

Jason C was the missionary in the drama I coached this year.

Jeremy S. was the preacher:)

Here's me 'directing'
The family! Jananne, Evie, Sherilyn, Roque

Anthony - the 'old Sammy'!

These are just a few pictures of when we took the drama on the road this year! It was amazing! Glick called me in and asked me to direct drama this year, and I had so much fun doing it! The actors were amazing, and God really helped us. Check out the school website for audio and           ?video?! I'm sorry I haven't written forever:) It's been a tad crazy:) I am happy to report that I only have 5 more pages to go on my term paper, and then only around 100 pgs left to read, then 4 finals and my school work for this semester is done! Of course I still have to administer finals, and grade them and all that fun stuff:) I'm already looking forward to next semester and the fun times I'll have with my students. I'll try to post some pictures of my classes next week sometime! Ttyl

Hey, I have some pictures here from our first choir service. We are leaving on Halloween for tour, and I'm kinda excited. The two top pictures are from Sunday night home on the bus when Jon helped Anthony become a manniquin. The next is the picture of our 50 voice choir and 12 person orchestra. Sweet! Well, I'm on break, and I need to go. Jacki

Saturday, October 18, 2008

Wow, Choir's first service is tomorrow. I'm a little anxious:) I'm also excited tho! I got some new accessories for my flute yesterday, and i'm thrilled with them. I also had so much fun last night because I went the lockin at school, and got to hang out with some awesome people. We played Dutch Blitz and Pit for hours! Fun, Fun. Of course I was also texting someone:) during that time, which made it even more fun. Anyway. I'm at work, and on break, and I thought that I'd write a little on here. I'm going to have someone take pictures of the choir tomorrow, and I'll be able to post them (hopefully) on Monday. God is good and life is fun! I'm ready for work to be over, and I know that I'm talking randomly:) Gotta go:0

Wow, once again, it feels like forever! I will have to say that this Old Fashioned Day was the best I have attended for a long time! There was a large variety of booths and games that were happening all day long! I also got to hang out with some really cool people. I'll try to post some pictures later when I get copies from a friend. I'll talk about the Music Booth then, but I do want to mention Sunday. Late Saturday Night, I was spazzing about a story for Jr. Church, and a friend (Thanks Chris) gave me the info that I needed. I almost didn't believe him, because I don't remember the story:) But I used it and God really helped me, not only in telling the story, but in simply fitting everything together! Then our Sunday Morning service was totally awesome! God is so good, and marvelous toward us! I'm at Panera Bread online right now, so I can't talk much longer, they are going to close in a few minutes. I also have a Grile class that is due tomorrow! Ahh! Well, I'll try to post later this week - Maybe Saturday:) bye-Jacki

Thursday, October 2, 2008

Wow, I haven't been on here forever. It seems like I'm always saying that:) We are getting ready for Old Fashioned Day. I'm so excited. My cousins are coming and some of my friends which I haven't seen forever:). I only have 5 min so I'll have to talk fast! Life is going good and happy now! Well, I have to go, so I'll talk to you later:) I'll try to post some pictures from OFD later:)

Saturday, September 27, 2008

It's been quite awhile - sorry:) We had an awesome ending to revival. What is more neater(Is that right? lol) than that is that the spirit of revival has stayed and stayed! God is really doing something on our campus. We have the totals and we have somewhere around a 20% increase in students this year! God is so good. I'm at work and on break so I don't have long. I'll try to get on here later, or try to text a longer message at a later date. But i'm really excited because i'm going over to my friends house tonight, and then I'm taking my class to a Catholic Mass tommorrow. I'll have to write and let you know how both go:) My Break is almost up, so i've gotta go:) Drop me a comment sometime, I'd love to hear from you:) -Jacki

Friday, September 12, 2008

Wow, I haven't posted via internet forever! To update, we actually have 75 people in Choir. Needless to say, Glick is in Heaven:) I'm kept pretty busy with all the stuff that I'm currently doing, but not to busy for my friends:) I went out to eat with Care and Baby Jonathan today. We had so much fun. He is adorable:) We are in school revival with Stephen Cassady, and it's been a busy week. Sunday night is the choir's first time to sing. We have some awesome songs this year, and God is blessing in our practices. The flute parts are pretty fun, which is good:) My classes are going good. I do have to say that my students are awesome! In one of the classes I teach - Music Theory I and Lab, we laugh until we almost cry. Of course if any of you know Aaron Trincado, you can imagine why. He's a wonderful, funny, awesome friend (I hope he never reads this, he'll expect me to actually be nice to him:) ) He is the only guy, and we get into some interesting discussions which produce interesting reactions from his standpoint. Quite funny:0 Well, I'd better go for now, I'll try to have more pictures later:)

Monday, August 25, 2008

Hey - the school picnic was today. And I didn't get hurt this year! Yea! There was one kid that got hurt, but not as many as there normally are! It was happiness. I got to spend almost the whole day hanging out with my best friend. She brought her little baby along and I got to hold him lots. The pictures are of him on the kiddie merryground. Isn't he adorable. We had such fun. I did play a couple of games of volleyball, and ended up not only getting hit in the head, but hitting one of the new college freshmen in the head. Poor boy, I think he'll have a black eye. I told him to blame it on the teacher:) Yea! Just what the school wants - a teacher giving a student a black eye. Oh well. I'll have to talk to ya'll later:) _ Jacki

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Well today was our first day at school. I already have homework! Not fair Mr. O! We haven't started choir yet, tomorrow is our first day, but I'm really excited. It looks like upwards of perhaps 60 in choir! That is such wonderful news. I also had the first session of Music Theory today. I know that I have at least 3 in that class, and maybe 4. My other class has 7, so I'm not too overloaded with students ;) I'm looking forward, and to admit, I'm a little scared. I'm at work right now, and on break. But I wanted to let you know that school has started and life is fastly (is that a word?) moving on! Ta la for now:)

Saturday, August 16, 2008

I have such good news. We have around 30 new freshmen at school this year, and around 55 students in the dorms. To some this may not seem like a lot, but to my little school, it is a great bonus. I'm excited about choir, and about everybody new coming! My classes are all ready to go, but some nerves are still happening! I'm happy tho:) Just wanted to update you - Jacki

Reposting in Memory of Rachel Cutler. Love you Shel!

Hey I just wanted to report in! I went to Brown County IN with some of my friends for a few days.
We had soooo. . .. much fun. We laughed ourselves silly more than once, and made many new memories J : Stores in Nashville, Eating lunch coupled with much conversation (giggle, giggle), Matching shirts, Scarfing pizza in Bloomington, Picture taking on the mountainsides,
Swinging, Climbing the firetower, Video commentary in the car! We got an entire cabin to ourselves - which was good, Shopping at Edinburgh - BORINGJJJ, Olivia -tripping over concrete parking things (while holding our ice containers) all the while making a running commentary (recorded on my phone) and making plans to ‘scare’ the other two - we rule Livvie J Anna - Getting close and personal with a butterfly, running a marathon and falling down the mountain to make it into the pictures J Rachel - Beautiful driving, scared of hitting the snake, eating, reading an interesting book? J. All in all a beautiful time. I really think that the whole trip made us closer friends, gave us a lot more jokes _ a man on a leash, my kissing story (wink, wink) _ among other things. We also got to visit the last church that my dad pastored. Thanks guys for going with me, it really meant a lot! We are going to plan to do this next year! Maybe, we’ll all survive this time JK.

Sorry, no new pictures - I didn't get a chance to go to my friends house after all, but I did have a good time shopping and got a total new outfit. I'll have to post a picture later. I've been online for hours trying to get some stuff ready for my classes. Joy of Joys:) I have to go to work in 20 minutes. I'm so excited:(. OH well, the paycheck is good:) I'll talk to ya later:) I guess that I'm having a smilie day:):)

Hey:0 Well I had a fun time since I last blogged. My sister (which I haven't seen for almost a year) came up on Thursday, and was here till Saturday morning. I was a little worried that I wouldn't see my nephew and brother-n-law. But it worked out fine:) I thought I'd post a few pictures. My nephew has grown so much and is still as cute as ever. I was teasing him about having a girlfriend, and that he had another girl besides me and kissed me on the cheek and told me it was best or something like that. It was so sweet. I miss him already and hope he can come and visit again. Of course I hope he brings his mom too:) it was a wonderful fun time. Sis and I got to spend some time together on Friday. Playing the piano, singing, and just generally talking. I really wish they lived closer, but perhaps next summer I can go and stay a week with them. This weekend I'm going to my friends, so I'll have plenty pictures of their baby. Happiness:) P.S. The bottom picture is one that I doctored up a bit to print. The good original one isn't on my computer:( Sorry:)

Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Hey - Long time no talk to:) Just wanted to let you know what was up with me. One of my friends who lives in Honduras is having some physical problems so I'd appreciate it if you would pray for her during this tough time. I have to show you a picture - my Best Friend Care's baby. I got to see him at work for a few minutes on Mon, and I took a picture. Isn't he adorable? I think that I'm going to be able to go to her house in a few weeks, so I'll have a bunch more pictures then. My sister is coming up tomorrow, I think?, and I'm excited because I haven't seen her for almost a year. I'll post more info later next week. See ya later:0

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

I decided to do this in a seperate post because it's of a sadder nature:( I found out on Sunday night that my Dad's sister - my Aunt Alice - passed away on the 4th of July. Mom, Jonathan, and I went to the viewing last night. It was a good yet sad time. I got to reconnect with some of my cousins, and Jonathan saw some of our cousins that he hasn't seen for almost 30 years. It's horrible that familes gets so distant that a reunion is at a funeral. Anyway, please remember to pray for the Jones family. I know that they would all appreciate it. Thanks:)

Wow, Sorry It's been so long, I was having some problems with my mobile blog there for awhile, so I didn't send any posts via mobile. Wow, what a week. I'm going to try to post some pictures of some things that happened this week. We were all on vacation, so I wasn't in a place that I could get online. We did have fun tho:) Nothing much happened this week as far as vacation goes but we did see some really cool fireworks, with some friends of ours. On Saturday, some friends and I went up in a plane. My one friend is going to China this winter, and hasn't been up in a plane since she was two, so her sister decided to give both Rachel (going to china) and I a joint birthday gift, and give us a plane ride. I've been up in a small one before, but this one was so much fun! I got to actually drive the plane. (The instructor had control of the rudder, and the power, but I got to steer!) Yeah!! It was so much fun! Anyway that's just a little bit of my vacation:) Now it's back to work and to the old grind!

Hey What's going on with all of you? I'm on break, and trying to come up with something to write:) Sometimes it's hard believe it or not. Tonight it's more play than work because I'm working with Micah - for those of you who remember, she's the person who co-wrote and directed the Christmas play at school last year - anyway, she's a good friend, and working with her can sometimes turn into disaster:) I haven't been getting much done as far as my goals are concerned, but Hey, I still have time. It's only the end of June:) I did hear today that my Aunt in Mich, isn't getting much better. She is going to start chemo up again next week, so if you think of her please pray. Thanks:) I'm hoping to get a chance to see my nephew this summer, but so far I don't think that it's much of a possibility. God still works miracles;) Well, I'd better go. I want to e-mail and then get some books before the grind starts again. See Ya next week:)

Prayer request for all of you who read my blog- one of my friends, Josh, had an accident and one of my teachers is having some health prob

Thursday, June 19, 2008

Hey! Do you remember reading about the friend that I talked about in a previous post?(the one with the college memories?) Anyway, her name is Rachel, and today is her Birthday! Happy Birthday Rachel:) Well, I'm going over to her house tonight, and going to watch a few DVDs have pizza and ice cream cake. I'm excited. This is my boring life. I actually get excited about going to a friends house:) I just had a friend tell me that my blog felt 'lonely' i'm not sure why! I don't think it's lonely. Ah well. Yesterday I downloaded a 'tree frog' for my Google desktop. He is so cute, he follows your mouse, and then you can feed him 'flies'. I'm still not sure what to name him. A coworker suggested "Sticky" but i'm not sure that it fits. I wish that there was a way that i could show him to you. I'm rambling i know, but that can be soooo much fun. This gives me an outlet to actually type:) YeaRa!!! Well, I'd better go and do something constructive. TTYL:)

Monday, June 16, 2008

Good news! My sis and bro-n-law got the other trailer and are moving! I'm so excited. I got to talk to her for close to a half an hour today. It was really neat. I'm at work right now, and on break! Yeah. It has been crazy today. It is only me and another gal, and when she went on break we had this huge pile of stuff in the back room. Every time I'd go back there, I would only be able to get like four items done before a patron would show up. It was crazy! When she returned, it looked like I hadn't gotten anything done. Except that there was more stuff! Help!!! Oh well. I only get a fifteen minute break, but i wish i was already off! I had to visit campus today to type up some stuff for Glick. It was so depressing! Dead! Besides Glick meeting and give me the stuff to type, IZ only saw Nathaniel T and Mark for a few minutes. It was a pretty prideful moment for me, because I actually accomplished something this summer. It was a first:) I did find out today from another friend, that she hasn't been too motivated yet either. It made me feel a little better:) I'm not the only unmotivated one:) Well, I'd better get going! I only have like 4 minutes left:)

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Hey! I just thought I'd post some pictures from our weird sky the other evening. We had a lot of storms roll through, and we went out to eat with my bro and sis-n-law and as we were coming out of the resturant, the sky was a really weird color. I grabbed out my trusty lil phone, and took pictures. I felt like I was on Mars. I've never seen an orange sky before. :) Well ttyl! J

Hey I've just got a few minutes, but I just want to ask for prayer for my Aunt. She has cancer, and it doesn't look the best right now. Her name is Judy. I know that she would appreciate prayer. Also a praise! My Aunt Mary's car is now running. This is a great answer to prayer because it hasn't ran since December. Thank the Lord that He still answers prayers and is available for our every need! I'll try to get back on here and write some more later this week. Ta Ta for now:) Jacki

This was sent to me via e-mail - I thought that I'd share it with you!

This is an outstanding performance by grammar school through high school kids. One of the fathers recorded it, added some graphic enhancements to the recording, and posted it on the web. The song, of course, is the 'Battle Hymn Of The Republic.' I think it will send shivers up your spine and may bring tears to your eyes as it did to me. Don't forget to turn on your sound! Now, click below, and enjoy! http://www.greatdanepromilitary.com/Battle%20Hymn/index.htm

I hope you enjoy it! Very Good!

Monday, May 19, 2008

Sorry, I don't have any new pictures - wireless isn't up at the Library yet! We are getting ready to start campmeeting tonight. I can't wait until the service! Yesterday we had awesome services at church. God really came and met with us. The evening service was opperated by the young adults. We had a YA choir and Jonathan directed. He is so much like his dad, it was like being directed by his father. The special speaker is a youth pastor from Coroydan. His sermon was right on target, and I am so glad that God used him. I am really looking forward to the camp because I believe that God is going to move in our midst. I'll report in later_ See ya, Jacki

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Well my class is offically over. I just have to grade papers and turn in the grades. It is sad, but yet a sense of accomplishment. I have taught my first college class. Now I can turn my mind to my full semester next year, and start preparing for my next two classes, oh, yeah after I finish my Spanish final tomorrow morning. Ah well, the joys of college life. I have such big plans for this summer. Some friends and I were thinking (for about 2 hours) of flying up to Mackinaw Island and spending three days this summer - then we saw the ticket prices, and that idea quickly fled. It was a fun idea tho:) I'm hoping to hang out with more of my friends, and get some preminlarly school work done this summer. We'll see! Oh well, I'll type more later! Have fun:)

Wednesday, May 7, 2008

I found out last week that I'm going to be teaching two college classes next semester. After registering today, I realize that I'm going to be swamped:) I'm excited tho. I cannot wait until I get my final papers done:) Yeah! Two more to go. I feel as tho I'm living on Mountain Dew and Green Tea ice cream - no faces! It's awesome stuff. You should try it some time. I don't have to get another job for the summer, but I've got plenty to do. Life is full! As you can tell I have a tendency to ramble when I haven't had much sleep! The other night Rachel stayed over and as we were studying and writing (frantically, not:)) I realized that it was such a sense of de ja vu. When we were little we would get together and play like we were in college and had so much school work to do. It was like we were just playing it, and suddenly we are in college and we are doing school work together. Some things were minimnally different from what we used to play - namely we aren't twins, and we aren't living in the dorm - but the main difference is that in our play we had men/boys in our lives. Nope that isn't a part of our lives right now! Well I'd better go and convince myself that I need to get some 'schoolwork' done. Talk to ya later - Jacki

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

This is my "little sis" Kay:) The inside of our bus full of people

I really like this picture:)

Hey I just thought that I'd add some new info! The choir's last Sunday out was last Sunday, and it was kinda sad. Some people will not be traveling with us next year. It seems like this year has really flown by. We are having a choir picnic on Sat, and I'm looking forward to that, but at the same time, I have so much work to do before finals! It seems that school work never ends! This summer I'm going to be preparing for next semester so I guess I don't get a break. I thought I'd post some pictures of our last day! Enjoy!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Hey I just thought that I'd add one more post from April. Wow, life is passing too quickly! On May 1 Choir is going to sing on the courthouse steps for the national day of prayer. If it doesn't rain, we are taking orchestra. I hope it doesn't rain, I really want to play outside:) I can not believe how fast this year has flown, it's like time doesn't take a break. I really wish sometimes it would slow down! Oh well:) I have to go to work in 2 to 3 minutes, so I'd better go ttyl!

Monday, April 28, 2008

Wow, last time I posted, I talked about the Preview Days that were coming up and how I had to prepare something for class. We thought up a game, and I was hoping that I would have enough extra students to be able to play. I needn't have worried - there were over 30 extra students in my class. What a switch from 8 students to over 30 in one night! Every teacher's nightmare :) We had a lot of fun, and my students made me proud:) Sunday the choir was out and more memories were added to the memory bank in my mind. One - Josh Emery trying to figure out how we are cousins of cousins LOL Love ya Josh :) Then, on the way home some of us tried to make a tent in the bus and tell 'ghost' stories. It didn't quite work - we got bopped with pillows, and Jeffery attacked us:) Dear Jeff, He's our choir mascot. Anyway - I need to head home and get some more sleep, and maybe work on a termpaper - Later:)

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Sorry here again:) This week is crazy, I just found out yesterday that I'm going to have some other guest students in my class this Friday. Such fun, I was a really cool teacher today and we had class in the Gazebo outside. Yeah!!! Well I'd better go and do research for my termpaper:) See Ya!

Well IHC was cool. I rode down on Tuesday with Russell, Daniel, Aaron, and Joann - we had fun until they fell asleep. All of them but Russell. That night we rode home in a crowded van. Never again! On Thursday, we rode in a van and played uno! Such fun! This week is preview days at school, and we are preparing for a skit. It is going to be so funny. I'll have to share pictures as they come in, maybe even a video clip!

Friday, April 11, 2008

Hey! Here I am again:) now you can add comments Rachel, Happy? I just had a wonderful discussion with one of my former teachers today. It really helped me a lot. I'm so thankful that we can talk to teachers who will encourage and help to push us upward. My life has been so busy lately. I'm looking forward to next week not only because of IHC, but because Friday, we get to do something as a family. We're still trying to figure out where we are going. I'm excited about it! Joy told me that I should post more pictures. I may work on that:) She's getting a little bosy:) I'm hoping to have some pictures from IHC next week. Maybe:) Oh well. I'm beginning to ramble. I need to go and get some books for the weekend, so i'll talk to ya later:0

Tuesday, April 8, 2008

Wow, Life is sooo busy! I just finished teaching piano, and came early to work to get online so I thought that I'd drop a note. I am so excited to go to IHC next week. It will be so much fun. Last friday night we had a lockin at school, and it was really neat to be able to see a friend i haven't seen for many years. We went to elementary school together. Such fun! We got to hang out for a few hours and catch up with each other's lives. I also had a fun weekend spending time with my brother. I'm so glad that God gave me such a wonderful family. Although I had a fun week, it's kinda nice to be back in the grind again. I'm kinda nervous because Glick is evaluting me tomorrow in class. I guess this could maybe make or break me teaching again! Oh well, God is in control! Dear classes, i don't know as i could ask for better students - Yes, Yes, Yes lol Joy:) Oh well, I need to head to work! Talk to ya'll later!

Wednesday, April 2, 2008

This was one of the houses we stayed in on tour. Joya mentions in her blog that she loved the house that we stayed in one night. It was her dream home. I got to thinking, and realized I would like this house way better than the other one. It's so funny how that best friends have so different views on decorating. Oh well! :)

I also want to give a big thank you to God because He has been helping me so much! Chapel at school was so encouraging yesterday, and it just makes me to want to continue to press on harder and harder. Joya and I were talking about Heaven, and about the fact that even tho we are young, we still have a longing to go there. It seems that God really wants to do something on our campus, and I also feel like He wants to do something in our church. God has really been blessing and helping us. It is so awesome to be a part of this. I can only pray and ask God to help me to be blessing to those around me.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

OK, Let's try this again. My Friend has been after me to start a blog, and so when I did, and texted her, she said she couldn't wait to see it! Oh well, so grand:) Hope you love it Joy:)
HI, First Time here, never done this before:) Kinda scary, but possibly fun?
