Field Trip!

Well, I'm off with a group of high school students to become a slave on the Underground Railroad. Conner Praire has a "Follow the North Star Program" So.... we are headed out in a few minutes to participate. I'm kinda excited.... kinda nervous.... so we'll see how it goes. It's plenty cold and wet and icky outside, but... should be tons of fun! Maybe, I'll have to get back on this afternoon and give you an update. In some ways this will be a tiny blast from the past for me. When I was just a lil kid, we used to play slaves. We were bought and sold by one Jason the slave trader, lining up against a brick wall. Oh those memories, I can still see him stroking his chin as he picked the one to purchase! Lol... we played lots of other things too, but I do believe one favorite memory was when Jason shot the duck off of the shelf with his toy gun! I don't think we ever figured out how it fell! Such fun!
