Basking in the love of my Savior each day, and just maybe the love of someone else;)!

It's been quite awhile - sorry:) We had an awesome ending to revival. What is more neater(Is that right? lol) than that is that the spirit of revival has stayed and stayed! God is really doing something on our campus. We have the totals and we have somewhere around a 20% increase in students this year! God is so good. I'm at work and on break so I don't have long. I'll try to get on here later, or try to text a longer message at a later date. But i'm really excited because i'm going over to my friends house tonight, and then I'm taking my class to a Catholic Mass tommorrow. I'll have to write and let you know how both go:) My Break is almost up, so i've gotta go:) Drop me a comment sometime, I'd love to hear from you:) -Jacki

Wow, I haven't posted via internet forever! To update, we actually have 75 people in Choir. Needless to say, Glick is in Heaven:) I'm kept pretty busy with all the stuff that I'm currently doing, but not to busy for my friends:) I went out to eat with Care and Baby Jonathan today. We had so much fun. He is adorable:) We are in school revival with Stephen Cassady, and it's been a busy week. Sunday night is the choir's first time to sing. We have some awesome songs this year, and God is blessing in our practices. The flute parts are pretty fun, which is good:) My classes are going good. I do have to say that my students are awesome! In one of the classes I teach - Music Theory I and Lab, we laugh until we almost cry. Of course if any of you know Aaron Trincado, you can imagine why. He's a wonderful, funny, awesome friend (I hope he never reads this, he'll expect me to actually be nice to him:) ) He is the only guy, and we get into some interesting discussions which produce interesting reactions from his standpoint. Quite funny:0 Well, I'd better go for now, I'll try to have more pictures later:)

Hey - the school picnic was today. And I didn't get hurt this year! Yea! There was one kid that got hurt, but not as many as there normally are! It was happiness. I got to spend almost the whole day hanging out with my best friend. She brought her little baby along and I got to hold him lots. The pictures are of him on the kiddie merryground. Isn't he adorable. We had such fun. I did play a couple of games of volleyball, and ended up not only getting hit in the head, but hitting one of the new college freshmen in the head. Poor boy, I think he'll have a black eye. I told him to blame it on the teacher:) Yea! Just what the school wants - a teacher giving a student a black eye. Oh well. I'll have to talk to ya'll later:) _ Jacki

Well today was our first day at school. I already have homework! Not fair Mr. O! We haven't started choir yet, tomorrow is our first day, but I'm really excited. It looks like upwards of perhaps 60 in choir! That is such wonderful news. I also had the first session of Music Theory today. I know that I have at least 3 in that class, and maybe 4. My other class has 7, so I'm not too overloaded with students ;) I'm looking forward, and to admit, I'm a little scared. I'm at work right now, and on break. But I wanted to let you know that school has started and life is fastly (is that a word?) moving on! Ta la for now:)

I have such good news. We have around 30 new freshmen at school this year, and around 55 students in the dorms. To some this may not seem like a lot, but to my little school, it is a great bonus. I'm excited about choir, and about everybody new coming! My classes are all ready to go, but some nerves are still happening! I'm happy tho:) Just wanted to update you - Jacki

Reposting in Memory of Rachel Cutler. Love you Shel!

Hey I just wanted to report in! I went to Brown County IN with some of my friends for a few days.
We had soooo. . .. much fun. We laughed ourselves silly more than once, and made many new memories J : Stores in Nashville, Eating lunch coupled with much conversation (giggle, giggle), Matching shirts, Scarfing pizza in Bloomington, Picture taking on the mountainsides,
Swinging, Climbing the firetower, Video commentary in the car! We got an entire cabin to ourselves - which was good, Shopping at Edinburgh - BORINGJJJ, Olivia -tripping over concrete parking things (while holding our ice containers) all the while making a running commentary (recorded on my phone) and making plans to ‘scare’ the other two - we rule Livvie J Anna - Getting close and personal with a butterfly, running a marathon and falling down the mountain to make it into the pictures J Rachel - Beautiful driving, scared of hitting the snake, eating, reading an interesting book? J. All in all a beautiful time. I really think that the whole trip made us closer friends, gave us a lot more jokes _ a man on a leash, my kissing story (wink, wink) _ among other things. We also got to visit the last church that my dad pastored. Thanks guys for going with me, it really meant a lot! We are going to plan to do this next year! Maybe, we’ll all survive this time JK.
